To register for exams in 2027 please follow the instructions below.
(If you have a question please ask your teacher)
1. Your teacher will tell you the date and fee for your exam.
2. On the day of your exam you will be asked to sign your exam papers as an indication of your agreement with these terms. Before completing your registration, please make sure that you carefully read our Regulations and Conditions of Entry
3. Download and complete one of the below Entry Forms electronically:
Please click here for an entry form if you are under 17 years old
Please click here for an entry form if you are 18 years old or over
For any other questions please see our FAQ page.
4. Print your form and, if you are 17 years old or younger on the exam day, ask a parent or guardian to sign it.
Give your completed form to your teacher. Please also remind your teacher if you are entitled to an accommodation for extra time (Nachteilsausgleich). We must know about this before the closing date for registrations in order to apply for extra time.
5. You will receive an email with further details within five working days after the Closing Date for Entries.
This includes instructions for the procedure of the Examination Day.
If you do not receive this email within five working days of the given closing date, please tell your teacher immediately.
6. As soon as your timetable is ready, your teacher will give you an official confirmation of your registration from the University of Cambridge. This Confirmation of Entry includes your full Examination timetable as well as details of how to see your results after the exam. You MUST keep this very safely, we cannot help you if you lose it.
7. Should you be ill on the day of your exam and unable to attend, we must receive a medical note (Ärzliches Attest) from you within five working days. We will then be able to transfer you to a future exam for a fee of 30 EUR, or offer you a 75% refund of your fee.
8. Results will normally be available 3-5 weeks after an exam date. They can be downloaded as a Statement of Result using the log-in details given in your Confirmation of Entry. This is sufficient to satisfy entry requirements for further study. Your certificate will normally arrive about 8 weeks after the exam day. At especially busy times such as in June and December, the delivery of your certificate may be delayed, in such cases the centre has no influence and accepts no responsibility.
9. You will receive your certificate from your teacher. If you will be leaving your school shortly after the exam, you will nevertheless need to make arrangements to collect it either from the school, or by visiting our office in Hamburg.
We wish you the best of luck with your exam.
